The China (Chongqing) – Singapore BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) Science & Technology Cooperation Dialogue took place in Liangjiang New Area on May 12, aiming to enhance coordinated development in international technology transfer and scientific innovation.

The Chengdu-Chongqing Belt and Road International Technology Transfer Center, established in December 2025, is spearheading this initiative by developing an international technology transfer network, building a comprehensive service platform, and facilitating the bidirectional transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements.

The center offers cross-border technology transaction services and comprehensive professional services, including intellectual property appraisal and technology value assessment, to support Chinese and Singaporean enterprises and research institutions.

It has organized 17 technology matchmaking activities targeting countries involved in the BRI initiative, published 150 technological outcomes and project demands from the Chengdu-Chongqing region, and facilitated the signing of 24 projects in biomedicine and artificial intelligence.

The conference also featured distinguished guests from the National University of Singapore, the Shanghai Technology Exchange, and Ant Group, sharing insights on key topics such as technology transformation, standards export, data security, artificial intelligence, and intelligent manufacturing.

They also participated in a roundtable focused on the interconnection of technology standards between China (Chongqing) and Singapore.
