Changan Automobile delivered 209,100 units in May, including 70,700 units sold overseas, a year-on-year increase of 38 percent, and 92,400 new energy vehicles, a 5.8 percent growth compared to the previous year.

The robust expansion in international markets is largely due to Changan's global initiatives, including the establishment of 22 overseas manufacturing bases. Changan also plans to introduce several new models, such as the fourth-generation Eado, the Deepal S09, and the Avatr 06, to markets in Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.

The Deepal brand has performed remarkably well, with overseas sales surpassing 28,000 units in the first five months of this year, a 167 percent year-on-year increase. Models including the Deepal S05 are highlighting the company's strong manufacturing capabilities.

Changan's new energy segment also demonstrated strong growth momentum in May. The Qiyuan brand delivered 34,528 units, including 15,812 units of the newly launched Q05. In Thailand, the brand received over 3,000 orders within just three days of its launch.

Deepal Automobile recorded sales of 33,243 units in May, a 30 percent year-on-year increase, and achieved 28,704 overseas sales from January to May, up by 167 percent. The Avatr brand delivered 7,336 units, with the Avatr 07L featuring Huawei's Qian Kun ADS 5 technology.

Changan Automobile's Uni division delivered 48,900 units in May, while Changan Kaicheng delivered 21,100 units, with new energy vehicle sales increasing by 21percent year-on-year.
