BOE global supplier partner conference held in Liangjiang

The BOE global supplier partner conference convened in Liangjiang New Area on June 9, bringing together representatives from over 600 global suppliers to discuss collaboration on cutting-edge directions and industry needs.

Liangjiang, a crucial hub for Chongqing's 1-trillion-yuan ($147 billion) electronic information manufacturing cluster, has attracted and nurtured leading industry enterprises such as BOE, supported by a robust electronic information industry foundation and diverse application scenarios.

BOE has invested nearly 90 billion yuan in Liangjiang, establishing seven key projects, including the Chongqing BOE 8.5th Generation LCD Panel Production Line, the BOE Chongqing 6th Generation AMOLED (Flexible) Production Line, and the BOE Chongqing Innovation Center.

These initiatives have drawn over 40 major supporting enterprises, such as Corning from the United States, Air Liquide from France, and Sumitomo Chemical from Japan, fostering coordinated development.

The conference featured a series of activities including keynote speeches and product showcases. BOE highlighted several core technologies and products, such as the BOE Blue Whale Display Model, the first industry model in the industrial sector to pass CESI evaluation and receive CNAS certification.

Other innovations that were showcased included a self-developed natural light display, BOE's "seamless" OLED flexible screens, and high-density glass-based packaging substrates, all part of their AI+ system solutions.

Partners such as Chipone Technology, Siemens Healthineers, and BYE Polymer Material showcased innovative products in the display industry chain, including display driver chips, OLED films, LCD substrates, and optical adhesives.

The conference will help attract more enterprises, talent, and technology, and authorities are committed to fostering a business-friendly environment to optimize resource allocation, enhance empowerment mechanisms, and provide efficient government services, said a local official.
