Major environmental enterprise launches in Liangjiang

CNCEC (China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation) Ecological Environment Co has established a presence in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, specializing in water environment management, industrial wastewater treatment, and clean energy utilization.

CNCEC signed a cooperation agreement with Liangjiang in March to undertake urban renewal projects in the area.

Li Peng, deputy general manager of CNCEC, said Chongqing's advancements in industrial development, technological innovation, and green low-carbon transformation align well with the company's core strengths.

Liangjiang provides CNCEC with comprehensive support and strong safeguards in both the short and long term, further strengthening cooperation in eco-environmental protection and water environment management.

CNCEC plans to integrate into the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle, focusing on key areas such as ecological management, environmental restoration, and urban renewal.

"Authorities have been proactive and precise in coordinating their efforts, taking into account the pace of business and the development needs of enterprises," said Li. "From on-site inspections to assistance with settlement procedures and matching park resources, dedicated personnel have been involved throughout the process."

Liangjiang has operated eight specialized industrial parks, creating a complete service chain from investment attraction to business establishment and industrial cultivation. These parks have attracted thousands of enterprises, with leading industry players such as China Unidata and China Machinery Industry Instrumentation Group establishing a presence.
