The seventh Talent Show of Young Ambassadors for International People-to-People Exchange, featuring AI and quadruped robots, kicked off on June 19 in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area, bringing together nearly 40 schools and over 50 teams from both domestic and international locations.
Yu Changxue, director of the China Center for International People-to-People Exchange at the Ministry of Education, highlighted how this cultural exchange initiative has been running for seven years, extending its reach across China and 23 countries worldwide. Nearly 1 million young participants have taken part, forging friendships that transcend geographical boundaries.
He encouraged participants to view the exhibition as a platform for learning, urging them to sharpen their skills by embracing challenges, foster mutual respect through cooperation, and cultivate friendships through creativity.
Li Jinyu, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong sense of curiosity, nurturing inclusivity, and embracing responsibilities. He encouraged young participants to become advocates of technology for good and to serve as bridges for cultural exchange.
This year's event covered Hangzhou, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Beijing, and Chongqing over a period of six weeks. It attracted participants from over 20 countries and regions, involving more than 3,000 students and over 600 schools.
