Chongqing has completed a low-altitude flight test over the area where the Yangtze River and Jialing River converge, marking a significant advancement in the exploration of low-altitude applications in the city's central area.

The flight path encompassed several of Chongqing's most prominent landmarks, including Raffles City, Chongqing Grand Theatre, and Nanbin Road.

The test validated critical elements such as route surveys, flight environment verification, and emergency support drills. All data and operational metrics met regulatory requirements, confirming the operational conditions, flight adaptation standards, and feasibility of implementing these scenarios in the core urban airspace.

The project aims to establish three core application scenarios along this route: low-altitude cultural tourism, urban aerial shuttles, and emergency medical rescue.

Efforts will focus on refining the low-altitude flight route system to develop a standardized and regulated model for urban low-altitude operations, enabling applications such as tourism, aerial shuttles, and medical rescue.
