Liangjiang launches summer childcare program

Liangjiang New Area is set to host its 2026 Summer Public Childcare Program from July 6 to Aug 28, providing a nurturing and engaging environment for children during the summer holidays.

The program will be available in 34 towns and neighborhoods, featuring 127 care sites and 345 sessions. The curriculum includes homework assistance, crafts, and outdoor activities.

This program is designed for children aged 6 to 12 who come from families struggling to provide summer care. Priority enrollment is given to orphans, children without parental care, and children of migrant workers.

The program is scheduled as follows:

Session 1: July 6 - July 10

Session 2: July 13 - July 17

Session 3: July 20 - July 24

Session 4: July 27 - July 31

Session 5: Aug 3 - Aug 7

Session 6: Aug 10 - Aug 14

Session 7: Aug 17 - Aug 21

Session 8: Aug 24 - Aug 28
