Chongqing students share natural history stories with Russian peers in English

Six students from Jiayuan Primary School in Chongqing Liangjiang New Area recently shared stories about the city's natural environment with Russian university students at the Chongqing Natural Resources Science Museum.

They told the ancient natural history of Chongqing in fluent English, highlighting the city's unique geology, rare flora and fauna, and distinctive natural resources. Their articulate expression, clear logic, and confident demeanor underscored their strong English proficiency and broad international perspective.

Participants also engaged in traditional Chinese crafts such as rubbings and paper-cutting, immersing themselves in China's rich cultural heritage.

The event aligns with the 2026-2027 China-Russia Years of Education, launched in May as the first national-level educational exchange initiative between the two countries.
