Chongqing to launch advanced aircraft maintenance facility

The T3B maintenance facility at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport was completed on Sept 1 and is expected to bolster the airport's support capabilities, including comprehensive aircraft overhauls and routine maintenance.

The facility, featuring a maintenance hangar, office buildings, and hazardous materials storage, is designed to accommodate one wide-body aircraft and two narrow-body aircraft simultaneously for inspection and maintenance.

It also includes fully automated doors, a 24-hour structural intelligent monitoring platform, and a safety protection warning system.
