Liangjiang and Youyang launch joint autumn tour

Autumn is a colorful time to explore Chongqing, with pink muhly grass in bloom and scenic attractions stretching from Liangjiang New Area to Youyang county in the Wuling Mountains.

This tour promises a blend of urban leisure, educational adventures, geological wonders, and Tujia ethnic customs.

Here is a three-day itinerary, best explored by car.

Day 1: Urban exploration in Liangjiang

First stop: Fendai Hill Park Immerse yourself in the pink clouds and mist of the city slopes.

Second stop: Sanbanxi Deer Park Get up close with gentle sika deer, enjoy picnics and camping on expansive lawns.

Third stop: Jihua Park Experience the thrill of indoor skiing and surfing, combining dynamic fun with relaxation.

Fourth stop: Longxing Ancient Town Wander through the historic stone streets, delve into Chongqing's cultural heritage, and savor local delicacies such as Longxing tofu.

Day 2: Journey to Youyang's hidden gems

Drive from Liangjiang to Youyang via the Chongqing-Hunan Expressway, which takes 3.5 to 4 hours.

Fifth stop: Dieshi Flower Valley Marvel at pink muhly grass swaying in the breeze and explore 500-million-year-old Cambrian stromatolite relics.

Day 3: Cultural and natural wonders of Youyang
