The LED products of Chongqing Silian Optoelectronic Technology Company recently won the bid for lighting the subway of Madrid, Spain, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

Silian’s LED products excel in domestic markets for energy conservation and high life expectancy. Its products have been sold in Canada, the US, Argentina, France, Germany, South Africa, Australia, India and Southeast countries.

It established an international business division in 2014 to expand its overseas market. In 2012, it beat 50 lighting companies in a bid to light Paris’subway and trains. It installed 50,000 LED lights, saved 9,600,000 kilowatt hours and reduced carbon emissions by 8400 tons.

"We will focus on the European, US and Southeast markets. Overseas sales will account for 30 percent of the total sales in three years," said Wang Daofu, general manager of Chongqing Silian Optoelectronic Technology Company.

As a top LED manufacturer in China, Silian plans to establish a 1, 000 acre (10 square kilometers) industry park at Liangjiang New Area, with an annual manufacturing capacity of 1.2 billion LED package fixators.

With the thriving of LED manufacturers such as Silian Optoelectronic, Lijiang New Area is witnessing a prosperous new energy lighting industry.
