Liangjiang New Area joins with Baosight

Liangjiang New Area signed an agreement to co-establish a Chongqing Businesses Cloud Platform with Baosight Software on Feb 26, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

The platform will construct a cloud platform and big data center, providing services to state-owned enterprises and later expanding to other businesses.

The project will have a total investment of 200 million yuan, and attract revenue of more than one billion yuan for the cloud computing industry in the whole New Area.

The project aims to cultivate new businesses models and promote big data and cloud computing.

Local officials and company leaders attended the signing ceremony.

He Yousheng said that the project will promote the cloud computing industry and create a better investment environment.

Baosight will provide premium services and take an active part in the cloud computing and information system of Chongqing Municipality.

Liangjiang will take advantage of existing data center infrastructure to establish an industrial chain.

Pacific Telecommunication, China Unicom, China Telecom, and other companies settled down at the Liangjiang Cloud Computing Center with a total investment of 30 billion yuan. It has more than 800,00 servers.

In recent years, Chongqing has worked hard in emerging technology based on big data. With years of effort, the municipality has established a solid foundation in telecommunications.
