Liangjiang cooperates with China Metallurgical Group Corporation

Tang Zongwei, deputy director of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee, and Xiao Xuewen, deputy chief of China Metallurgical Group, signed a strategic cooperation agreement on May 19 at the 19th Chongqing International Investment and Global Sourcing Fair.

The two parties will strengthen efforts to establish a procurement and settlement center, an operation center, and a smart city institute for China Metallurgical.

They will jointly try to satisfy Chongqing’s ambition of establishing an ecological city, a sponge city and a smart city.

They will help to promote China Metallurgical’s logistic center, advanced equipment manufacturing center, and information industrial Center as suitable locations for real estate and other industries.

Liangjiang and China Metallurgical Group will expand cooperation against the background of the Belt and Road Initiative and seek infrastructure connectivity for mutual benefit.

Headquartered in Beijing, China Metallurgical Group is the world's largest metallurgical construction contractor and metallurgical enterprise operation service provider.

It has the largest domestic production capacity for steel structures. It is among 16 State owned central enterprises in the real estate industry approved by the State Council.
