Chongqing Liangjiang offers robot courses

New industrial robots and 3D printing programs have settled in Liangjiang New Area according to the Liangjiang New Area Administrative Committee.

The signing ceremony took place at the 19th Chongqing International Investment and Sourcing Fair in Liangjiang New Area on May 19.

NGQJW Science and Technology is a high-tech company that focuses on comprehensive solutions for laboratories and training rooms of vocational schools and institutions of higher education.It has obtained over 20 invention patents and over ten software copyrights.

NGQJW is planning to invest $7.74 million in establishing Chongqing NGQJW Industrial Robots Automation Technology Co, a wholly-owned subsidiary in Chongqing Municipality, and the Chongqing NGQJW Industrial Robots Application and R&D Center.

NGQJW signed a strategic core education agreement with KUKA Robots Technology in Germany in 2015.

Based on the agreement, the newly established Chongqing subsidiary will establish two KUKA academies in Chongqing with a total investment of 50 million yuan ($7.63 million).

These two academies will have access to the whole package of KUKA’s educational resources, and thus will be able to serve approximately 1000 vocational institutions in the entire South West Region.

The two KUKA institutes will enable students from Chongqing to enjoy education from Germany without going abroad.

NGQJW’s Chongqing subsidiary will also develop, manufacture and sell teaching equipment for industrial robots and 3D printing.

The Chongqing NGQJW Industrial Robots R&D Center is expected to be an information hub for the robot industry. It will provide both online trading and financial transaction support as well as offline services and professional training.

One of the top three vocational education providers in China, NGQJW has four national technological consultants and six municipal level technology judges.
