Wistron Group secures production base contract in Liangjiang
Taiwan-based Wistron Group signed a contract to invest in a new medical instruments production base in Liangjiang on June 1.
The medical construction base will house various businesses, including those involved in the design, production and sale of medical instruments.
Ling Yuemin, director of the Liangjiang administration committee, attended the signing ceremony. He said that Wistron has made significant achievements in information and communication technology (ICT) and the construction of the base will promote Liangjiang's high-end production industry.
A senior from Wistron pointed out that the new medical construction base will include four platforms, namely, a medical instruments construction platform, technology support platform, maintenance platform and medical data platform.
Headquartered in Taiwan, Wistron Group is among the world's largest ODM companies producing ICT products, with branches in Asia, Europe and North America.
