Chongqing Liangjiang Area boots up communication system

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) launched a communication platform at a national-level new areas meeting held in the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area on June 21. The platform’s purpose is to monitor the economic operations of the national-level new areas and enhance communication between them.

The platform is an app comprised of announcements, work in progress, system and procedure innovation and economic and social development.

The system and procedure component is a communication platform for the new areas to share advanced actions and working experience; it also sends announcements to the app which readers can access. The work in progress section presents recent major measures taken by the new areas. The economic and social development function shows the new areas’ achievements.

Information uploaded by the new areas can be processed and shared through the app.

Detailed analysis of the data released by new areas also contributes to economic risk prevention and development trend forecasting.
