The Liangjiang New Area's education bureau said yesterday the teams from the area won many first prizes in the final of the 14th Network Originality Competition (NOC).
The team from Liangjiang New Area's Renhe Primary School won the first prize in the robot cross country race. A Liangjiang math teacher was awarded the top prize for the best lesson teaching performance.
The final had nine competitive events for teachers such as internet-assisted research and school-based course research. There were 15 contests for both students and teachers pertaining to network English, cartoon creation and logistic robots.
NOC is an annual activity for teachers and students across China meant to develop their creativity and practical ability and promote their intellectual property awareness and moral level. It has been held in many cities including Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen since 2002 and become a brand in the IT education field.
