An online cloud platform providing services for small and medium-sized enterprises has come into operation in Chongqing on Aug 20, according to the Chongqing Small and Medium Enterprise Bureau.

The new platform applies advanced technology for big data and cloud computing to efficiently ensure information consultancy, dealing with tedious issues and procedures that can only be solved offline. As of now several new services are available online, making things more convenient and saving a lot of time.

Companies can enjoy high-performance management software at a low cost in the terms of supply, marketing, and finance. Service institutes will offer products through the platform and they will be open to public supervision regarding their price level, service quality, and capabilities.

Official government websites can also be found on the cloud platform, providing companies access to online project applications and policy consultations.

Platform builders predict 50,000 small and medium companies, as well as over 1,000 professional service institutes, will join the cloud platform.

Cloud computing, a type of Internet-based computing, is the core feature of the platform. It provides shared computer processing resources and data to computers and other devices on demand. The platform can provide users and enterprises with various capabilities to store and process their data.
