Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality signed an agreement with Inspur on April 8 to co-establish the new generation of an international standard mutual recognition system of the industrial internet.
According to the agreement, Liangjiang and Inspur will build an industrial standard research center by cooperating with related institutions in Singapore.
With Liangjiang's advantages in location and industrial development, the research center will attract advanced industries involving standard, inspection, testing, and quarantine to Chongqing.
The research center will carry out standard consistency research in the technical regulation system, standard system, and conformity assessment system, which will lower the standard of bilateral market access, as well as make international trade more convenient.
A China-Singapore industrial internet international standard association will also be established according to the agreement. The association is expected to promote establishing and applying the technical trade measure system and industrial internet standard system, which will support trade and investment cooperation between China and Singapore.
