Liangjiang aims to attract high-level talents

Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality recently held its first online talent attraction event, which saw recruitment notices posted by 17 postdoctoral workshops and 12 scientific research institutes from Liangjiang's postdoctoral entrepreneurship and innovation park.

The park, covering Liangjiang Coordinate Zone, Liangjiang Digital Economy Industrial Park and Liangjiang Shuitu Development Zone, was established in November 2019.

So far, more than 20 postdoctoral workshops and 20 scientific research institutes have settled there, such as China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co, Chinese Academy of Sciences' Chongqing Institute of Green and Intelligent Technology, and Changan New Energy.

To create a promising environment for skilled workers, the park has formed a complete policy system by improving talent work mechanisms, optimizing talent policies, and establishing talent attraction platforms.

The park will provide rental and subsistence allowances for personnel who meet standards, and financially support the operation of postdoctoral scientific research workstations established by key companies or institutes involved in key industries.

In addition, the workstations and postdoctoral personnel can enjoy both the preferential policies issued by Chongqing municipality and Liangjiang New Area.

In the future, the park aims to attract more postdoctoral workstations established by various companies and institutes to enhance the capability of its enterprises, universities and research institutes.

By 2022, the park aims to attract and cultivate over 6,000 talents in technology innovation.
