The 2020 Chongqing International Auto Exhibition kicked off at Chongqing International Expo Center in Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality on June 13, with the event set to run until June 21.

The exhibition is being held across the expo center's seven exhibition halls, central hall and the north square, and will see the display of over 1,000 automobile models from 80 major brands from all over the world.

Visitors can not only see emerging new energy brands and the latest models, but also experience cutting edge technologies, such as new energy formula cars, car body safety structures, and full-speed adaptive cruise systems.

The exhibition has taken strict measures to prevent and control the novel coronavirus. Visitors must purchase tickets online with real-name registration, and visit the exhibition during different time periods.

When entering the expo center, visitors should have their body temperature measured, show their tickets and ID, show their health QR codes, go through a disinfection area, receive a second body temperature measurement by automatic infrared thermometer, go through a security check, and verify their tickets.

All the visitors at the exhibition are required to wear masks at all times and keep a one-meter distance between each other.

The exhibition has also organized epidemic prevention training for exhibitors and other staff members, and requires them to record their health condition every day. The expo center has fully checked its air conditioning and fresh air systems, disinfected the exhibition area, and is equipped with temporary quarantine areas, masks, antiseptic solution and liquid soap.
