Chongqing pavilion shines at 2022 CIFTIS

Chongqing municipality in Southwest China participated in the 2022 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), which took place from Aug 31-Sept 5. Government units, open platforms and local enterprises were organized to demonstrate Chongqing's latest achievements in service trade at the Chongqing pavilion online and onsite.

The onsite Chongqing pavilion displayed two major types of exhibits – special cultural products and smart manufacturing products, with the latter including 3D printers by Chongqing Adrayn Tech Co and Chongqing Touch Information Technology Co as well as new energy vehicles by auto-maker Changan.

The online exhibition involved service trade by renowned enterprises in testing, healthcare, big data, logistics, culture, software, tourism and manufacturing.

CIFTIS is hailed as one of China's three major open exhibitions. "CIFTIS is a great platform for our company to expand its international influence. Other regions and enterprises outside China are able to learn about the firm's products and technologies, which is beneficial to our development,” said a staff member from Chongqing Adrayn Tech Co.

Chongqing is a national service outsourcing demonstration city, a national characteristic service export base, and a pilot zone for in-depth service trade innovation. Data from the Chongqing Commission of Commerce suggested that Chongqing’s total offshore service outsourcing contract value during the first half of this year stood at $970 million, up 40.2 percent year-on-year.
