Consumer vouchers to be issued to commemorate 3 festivals

Liangjiang New Area in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality will release a large number of consumer vouchers targeting the upcoming New Year holiday, Spring Festival, and Lantern Festival.

This shopping event was jointly organized by Liangjiang's bureaus of modern services, social insurance, and market supervision, along with the new area's social insurance management center. It will last from Dec 29 this year to March 31 next year.

The consumer vouchers are categorized into two types – one for general use and the other for gas. They can be used in Liangjiang's major business districts and at designated gas stations.

In addition, banks and other financial institutions have also rolled out a variety of discount activities to spur consumption.
