Chongqing-Russia product exhibition to open soon

From Jan 26 to 29, the Chongqing-Russia economic and trading exchange and product exhibition, organized by Chongqing Bonded Port Development Group, will be held in the Lianglu Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone (CBZ), Liangjiang New Area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality.

The exhibition aims to accelerate the two-way flow of trade and culture between Southwest China and Russia.

So far, the event has attracted the participation of more than 450 enterprises that deal mainly with agricultural products, food, mineral resources, machinery, and building materials. Among them, 210 are Chinese firms. More than 10 Chinese automakers, including NIO, Xpeng, SERES and Changcheng, will display 94 vehicle models at the event.

One economy and trade promotion activity, four economy and trade exchanges, and several one-on-one business exchanges will take place during the event. The four economy and trade exchanges will involve agricultural and forestry products, agricultural machinery, automobiles, motorcycles, industrial equipment, food and consumer goods, mineral resources, energy, and other professional fields.

More than 2,000 quality Russian products, such as vodka, red wine, beer, flour, beverages, honey, amber, beeswax, and silk scarves, will be on show. This enables Chongqing residents to purchase Russian commodities without traveling so far.

In addition, high-quality export products, cultural handicrafts, geological indication products, and Chongqing-made products will be showcased and sold at the event.

The four-day event will also feature daily Russian cultural performances, street portraits, and Russian matryoshka paintings.
