Danaher unveils innovation center in Liangjiang

Danaher, a Fortune 500 multinational pharmaceutical company, established its West China Innovation Center in Liangjiang New Area in March. The center aims to enhance pharmaceutical research and innovation in the Chengdu-Chongqing region. Phase I of the center is now fully operational. 

Wu Hao, a center representative, emphasized that this facility is the first in China to be constructed entirely under Danaher's new brand image, seamlessly blending technology with humanistic elements. It supports various functions, including talent cultivation, innovation incubation, product development, customer service, technical support, application development, functional verification, and collaborative work within the bio-pharmaceutical industry. 

The Danaher China Life Sciences Institute's Western Application Research Center has also begun operations. As Danaher's third research institute in China, following those in Shanghai and Guangzhou, it is dedicated to developing cutting-edge bio-pharmaceutical and precision medicine applications. 

"We are also in the process of establishing the Cytiva Western Innovation Center," Wu added. "This center will focus on bio-pharmaceutical technology development, talent training, project incubation, and health economics evaluation. It is expected to commence operations in 2025.”
