Liangjiang New Area has introduced measures to establish a comprehensive, market-oriented system for technology transfer and commercialization, fostering the development of new quality productive forces tailored to local conditions.
The measures encompass 11 specific actions, addressing a wide range of areas such as invigorating new research institutions, conducting organized technological breakthroughs, strengthening support from innovation platforms, and establishing supply and demand lists.
Li Jie, deputy director of the Liangjiang New Area administrative committee, stated that these measures will use various channels, including platforms, funding, and talent, to eliminate barriers at every technology transfer and commercialization stage.
Li added that the goal is to create a collaborative framework that brings together government, industry, academia, research, and application sectors to drive the transformation of scientific and technological achievements.
Authorities will encourage manufacturing and service companies to integrate cross-sectorally, create and open new application scenarios, and timely publish opportunity lists for new technological applications in the area.
Li emphasized that these efforts hope to accelerate the application of technological innovations in specific industries and industrial chains, transform these innovations into tangible productive forces, and spawn new industries and business models.
