Liangjiang sees record growth in business entities

Liangjiang New Area witnessed a remarkable growth in market vitality in 2024. The total number of business entities exceeded 160,000, and the total number of enterprises[JMB1]  exceeded 90,000, according to local authorities, 

In 2024, 29,829 new business entities were established in the area, an increase of 2.5 percent year over year. Of these, 14,122 were new enterprises, a growth of 3.52 percent. 

The significant increase in the number and vitality of business entities is largely attributed to the continuous optimization of the business environment. This includes implementing reform pilots, lowering entry barriers, simplifying processes, and enhancing efficiency to facilitate the admission of business entities.

Liangjiang has significantly reduced the application process for enterprise names by introducing regulations to improve dispute-handling mechanisms and implementing autonomous declaration. 

The area has also pioneered the "One-Stop Service for Individual-to-Enterprise Transformation", which greatly reduces required application materials and procedures. 

Liangjiang has also promoted the extensive use of electronic signatures, seals, and business licenses, achieving paperless registration services and enhancing the experience for enterprises and the public.

In addition, authorities have released five support lists and established a specialized framework for developing individual industrial and commercial businesses. 

The area also implements a pre-entry national treatment and negative list management system encouraging foreign investment in newly opened fields without additional restrictions.
