2025 Chongqing International Auto Exhibition to kick off

The 27th Chongqing International Auto Exhibition is set to take place from June 7 to 15 at the Chongqing International Expo Center in Liangjiang New Area. 

This year's exhibition will cover an impressive 160,000 square meters and feature three key modules: the "Intelligent Driving Mountain City Laboratory", the "Chengdu-Chongqing Industrial Chain Coupling Cabin", and the "Belt and Road Technology Conversion Zone".

The 2025 China Automotive Chongqing Summit (CACS 2025) will be held from June 6 to 7, kicking off the event. This forum will gather global automotive manufacturers and supply chain companies, research institutions, entrepreneurs, and scholars to discuss cutting-edge trends and explore the industry's future development.

Several activities are also planned, including a global automotive industry supply and procurement matchmaking conference, international business delegations exchange dialogues, and tours of Chongqing's digital and intelligent factories. 

As a major automotive production hub, Chongqing's new energy vehicle production reached 953,000 units in 2024, marking a 90.5 percent year-on-year increase and placing the city in the top three for vehicle production nationwide. 

Chongqing's diverse and robust infrastructure, aerospace information sector, and extensive intelligent driving support offer a unique advantage to local car manufacturers, attracting over 100 global automotive brands to unveil debut models and showcase advanced autonomous driving models.

Numerous debut models will be unveiled at the exhibition. The exhibition will utilize a 30,000-square-meter outdoor area to offer amphibious intelligent driving experiences. Participating companies will provide autonomous driving shuttles and, for the first time, integrate low-altitude ecosystems and intelligent robotics into the exhibition. 

The exhibition will also explore the city's unique characteristics, cultural heritage, and health and fitness trends, creating a diverse automotive lifestyle scene.
