A group of Brazilian journalists recently visited Liangjiang New Area as part of the "Brazilian Journalists in Chongqing" media event.

The delegation explored technological advancements at Chongqing Haifu Medical Technology Co and the Changan Global R&D Center, experiencing the region's dynamic innovations firsthand.

Wang Zhibiao, chairman of Haifu Technology, introduced the Haifu Knife – a focused ultrasound tumor treatment system developed in Liangjiang – showcasing the system's precision and safety through various demonstrations, including a glass sheet experiment.

Tiago Prudente from Band TV expressed admiration for the technology, noting its potential to benefit countless patients.

The Haifu Knife has been exported to 33 countries and regions worldwide. In Latin America alone, it is used in Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Colombia, and Argentina, with Uruguay soon to become the seventh. It has treated 320,000 patients with various benign and malignant tumors globally.

The journalists also explored Changan's latest automotive technologies and were impressed by the integration of AI in smart driving and intelligent cockpits. Douglas Dias from Record TV highlighted the company's forward-thinking approach, noting discussions about flying cars.

Changan's global expansion includes six regional layouts and 20 planned overseas factories, with nine already operational. The company has established a presence in over 100 countries, with more than 14,000 global outlets.
