Journalists and editors from seven outlets toured Longxing General Airport, where they received an operational overview of the airport and the low-altitude economic development strategy of Liangjiang. The group was also briefed on the functions of Liangjiang's low-altitude management platform and observed demonstrations of helicopter landings and skydiving activities.

Catriona Jackson, editor of the opinion site Pearls and Irritations, said she was impressed by how the airport combines innovative testing and research with existing facilities to continuously refine new technologies.
She said the airport's emergency response capabilities could offer valuable insights for Australia, which, like Chongqing, is vulnerable to wildfires. The airport, one of Chongqing's four emergency rescue bases, played a key role in combating severe wildfires in the summer of 2022.
Jackson also noted that the pace of technological change in China and the way enterprises deploy intelligent solutions to meet challenges left a strong impression on the delegation. She expressed hope that Australia and China would deepen mutual understanding and expand cooperation.
Liangjiang, Chongqing's primary hub for the low-altitude economy, hosts the city's first 100-billion-yuan ($14.04 billion) space information fund and over 100 aerospace and low-altitude enterprises. It has established a full industrial chain encompassing infrastructure, R&D and manufacturing, operational services, comprehensive support, and financial services.
