In the first half 2014, as a leading demonstration zone in Liangjiang New Area, Yufun Industrial Development Zone enjoyed steady growth, achieving an above-average industrial output value of eight billion yuan ($ 1.3 billion), a year-on-year increase of 11.7 percent.

The steady growth should contribute to accelerated construction of settled-down enterprises. At present, 10 projects including Bao Steel, Chang'an Vehicles, and Shengma Air have been completed and gone into trial production. In total, 27 projects have started trials in the Zone with a production rate of 42.1 percent.

Apart from accelerating the construction of leading enterprises, Yufun Industrial Development Zone increased efforts on infrastructure construction, in a bid to provide a better environment for enterprises.

This year, the supporting facilities in Yufun Industrial Development Zone are about to be greatly enriched with a 45.5 km road under construction. In addition, the main building of Yuzui Middle School and the interior decoration of the special mission fire station have been completed.

The main Fusheng 220KV and Xujiaoyuan 110KV transformer substations have been finished and Yuzui Water Plant has entered the equipment installation stage. Guoyuan Sewage Treatment Plant (Phase I) has been brought into use. What's more, the Administrative Committee has completed 1.3 million square meters of public rental housing.
