"Recruitment Program of Global Youth" experts from the Chongqing services group, including Sun Suining, deputy secretary-general of the Western Returned Scholars Association and Lai Laili, director of the technology research and development center, State Grid Energy Research Institute visited Liangjiang New Area on August 22.

Li Lianjun, deputy director of the United Front Work Department, Chongqing Municipal Party Committee and Li Chengyuan, vice director of Liangjiang New Area Administration Committee, accompanied the delegation's visit.

They arrived at Liangjiang New Area Planning Exhibition Hall for a detailed understanding of Liangjiang New Area's geographical location, economic and social development, and industrial planning. Later on, experts were briefed by Liangjiang New Area's planning and development, on industrial distribution and skills recruitment. Experts and scholars also had a meaningful conversation with relevant departments on electronic information, biological medicine, new energy and technology projects.

Chen Yuxiao, a delegate and CEO of Yaqi Technology Services Ltd., said that in 2012, the vigorous development of electronic information, the automobile sector and other industries in Liangjiang had attracted a number of enterprises in coastal Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces to transfer to inland Chongqing, where they enjoyed growth gradually. He also said that Chongqing is becoming an important investment destination in the west of China. Its geographical advantages and industrial advantages are attracting more and more enterprises.

After listening to the briefing, Xu Suining said that this visit gave the service delegation a deep understanding of Liangjiang's development environment, personnel policies and prospects and they were impressed with Liangjiang's huge development potential. The service group will have more in-depth conversations with related departments, in a bid to bring more "Recruitment Program of Global Youth" experts to Liangjiang who will contribute to the economic development of Chongqing and Liangjiang.
