Jinhai Road to be completed soon

25 projects are under construction in Lijia Business District, Northern New Area, Chongqing Municipality, including 19 roads, one bridge, two overpasses, and three drainage projects.

It is expected that by the end of this year, the total road construction will reach 32.1 kilometers, accounting for 85 percent of the total distance of the road network in Lijia Business District. With a length of 16 km, Jinhai Road – which runs along the Jialing River – will be basically completed, and the entire road network will open to traffic by the end of this year.

Duan Chenggang, director of the Northern New Area Administrative Committee, said that a commercial project next to the OCT project has been designed. A section of Lijia Ecological Zone headquarters has completed its conceptual planning and design, and will make full use of the mountains’ different altitudes, to form a cluster including as ecological headquarters, offices, business headquarters, an art exhibition center, a cultural Expo center, experts’ apartments, a conference center, and a waterfront restaurant.

Lijia Business District will also work on the construction of Baiyun Mountain Ecological Park. Covering 1,200 mu and with a total investment of 200 million yuan, the design for the park has been completed and construction is expected to start at the end of the year.
