A new shop for Italian imported goods started trial operation in Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port in Liangjiang new area, Southwest China's Chongqing municipality on July 18.

In the shop, goods from Italy will be available and customers can also order customized goods. In the next stage, the shop will open themed areas to sell Italian wine, clothes and food.

The shop is on the third floor of the trade center in Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port with a total area of 3,000 square meters. The wood furniture sold in the shop is from Tuscany, a region in central Italy known for its influence on high culture. The furniture is all handmade and has the romance of Florence, according to Patrizio Innocenti, a staff member of the shop from Italy. Customers can also order furniture customized for their own houses. Designers from Italy will design the furniture depending on customers' needs.

An e-commerce platform (www.igetmall.net) will be opened at the same time for customers to order online.

Chongqing is a city with fast development and many business opportunities, said Patrizio Innocenti.

At present, Lianglu Cuntan Bonded Port has been strengthening its processing trade, bonded logistics and constructing a trade platform for bonded goods. In the bonded goods trade center, more than 40,000 types of bonded goods including cars, jewelry are available.
