Liangjiang Shuitu resettlement houses ready to take in residents

Housing projects to resettle residents in Liangjiang have been completed and are ready for residents to move in, according to the Liangjiang administration committee.

Since their inception, the projects have received 4.3 billion yuan ($674 million) in investments. The developments cover 2.49 million square meters and can house around 80,000 people.

Liangjiang New Area has undertaken 22 resettlement estate projects over the last five years to relocate farmers in the vicinity into better housing.

Hexin Garden, a resettlement housing project in Liangjiang, was recently completed and opened to the public.

The complex is capable of housing over 20,000 people. The second and third stage projects of Heyuan Garden have also been completed and will open to the public soon. Stages two and three can house over 10,000 people.
