Liangjiang Micro Film Contest invites online voting

Liangjiang Micro Film began online voting on Dec 21, liangjiang.gov.cn reported.

The contest has a theme of “Reform, opening up and Innovation”. The contest began in Sept 2014, and has garnered great attention from companies, universities and social organizations.

Nearly 200 works entered the competition with 100 selected for the second phase of Online Voting.

The online voting begins at 9 am Dec 21 and ends at 6 pm Jan 5. The 50 works with the most votes will enter the final round of review. A total of 23 awards will be given, including 15 nomination awards, five awards for excellence, one best story award, one best documentary award and one panelists’ award, with the awards being 10,000 yuan ($1,543), 30, 000 yuan, 50,000 yuan and 100, 000 yuan.

Some of the micro films focus on the urbanization and industrialization of Liangjiang, while others focus on development against a backdrop of inland reform and opening-up. Some others feature major projects of local companies.

The contest is cosponsored by the Liangjiang New Area Committee, the China Documentary Association, the CCTV New Film Production Center, and the Chongqing Broadcasting and Television Group. It is organized by the Chongqing Film Association.

Some of the winning films will be shown on the high-speed bullet train of the Chengdu Railway Bureau and Chongqing TV, and possibly on CCTV.

How to vote:

2. Please click the picture or text to look at the works and select “vote” to vote for your favorite one.

3. Each person can only vote once each day. People who are found cheating will be eliminated and have no right to participate in the competition.
