The 2017 Liangjiang Spring Job Fair opened at Huibo Talent Market on Feb 28, offering more than 5,000 positions across a range of fields, according to the Liangjiang talent employment center.

Over 150 famous companies joined the job fair, including SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile, BOE, Overseas Chinese Town, and Fuyao Group, the biggest auto glass provider in China. Positions from engineer to management role were up for grabs at the fair and attendees could apply for jobs in the fields of IT, communication, auto industry electronics, mechanical manufacturing, and equipment production.

Most of the positions on offer at the job fair sought technically talented individuals. The majority of jobs available provided monthly salaries between 5,000 yuan to 8,000 yuan increased, a 200-500 yuan increase from 2016.

Li Ping, chief operations officer of Huibo Talent Market, said February and March are the busiest months in the job market. Since Spring Festival, the talent market has held the job fair every day of the week except on Mondays. The company expects to host 130 job fairs this year.

In addition to attending the job fair, employers and job-seekers were encouraged to register at the talent market’s official website: www.huibo.com.
