Chongqing accelerates e-government affairs

The Chongqing Administration for Industry & Commerce has accelerated its construction of Internet Plus e-government affair services since the beginning of the year to better serve its companies.

Companies in the city have been able to register online and print their business licenses automatically through intelligent service machines in just one minute since July 2, according to Liangjiang New Area's market supervision bureau.

Intelligent service machines first became operational at Liangjiang New Area Administrative Service Center.

"The machine is now under trial operation," said Sun Jie, an official from Liangjiang New Area's market supervision bureau.

Sun said that the machine uses high-precision facial recognition technology and intelligent printing to allow entrepreneurs to print their business license using their ID card and facial scan in just one minute.

The machine also has a panoramic map of the of the Free Trade Zone in Liangjiang New Area, and allows entrepreneurs to search for preferential policies in different parts of the zone.

Sun Jie added that the intelligent machine can effectively save times for entrepreneurs and promote the efficiency of the government in dealing with business affairs.
