On Aug 3, Liangjiang New Area's Lianglu Guoyuan Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone (CBZ) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China General Consulting and Investment Co.

The two sides will cooperate in policy consulting, park operation and management, industrial funds, and other areas to fully promote the construction of the CBZ's import bio-pharmaceutical port.

According to the agreement, the two sides are set to focus on introducing industries such as high-end numerical control machine manufacturing, nuclear medicine, importing and exporting advanced medical devices, and health and rehabilitation services to the zone.

In relation to industrial funds, the two parties plan to collaborate on advancing the creation of funds initiated by private investment. This partnership will particularly concentrate on sectors like vaccines, blood products, medical devices, and biotechnology.

Their plan involves collaborating to attract reputable enterprises for investment and establishment within the CBZ. They aim to facilitate cooperation in significant projects by overseeing the entire consultation process and coordinating integrated operations and management within industrial parks.

They are also set to provide professional services such as technology docking, policy consulting, investment and financing services, listing services, and market expansion assistance for enterprises in the zone.

In the present year, leaders from the CBZ government undertook on-site investigations in Beijing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and other locations. At present, the software and hardware infrastructure for the imported drug and biological product port, alongside the customs clearance procedure for medical materials and drug imports, have experienced substantial enhancements. The "one-stop" supply chain service system for importing bio-pharmaceuticals within the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Zone has begun to establish its foundational structure.
