The Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone signed cooperative MoUs with six overseas entities to establish innovation incubators in London, Milan, Seoul, the Hague, Brussels, and Budapest, respectively. The incubators will drive innovation by bridging international resources and facilitating cross-border exchange and cooperation.

The incubators will leverage their local operations and pool innovation resources, especially for emerging and futuristic industries such as new energy and intelligent networked vehicles, new displays, integrated circuits, high-end equipment, aerospace, new materials, satellite internet, industrial internet, artificial intelligence, industrial software, life sciences, and intelligent energy.

The three cross-border innovation centers will be located in the Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone, Silicon Valley, and Singapore and will allow the Liangjiang Collaborative Innovation Zone to expand cross-border exchanges in scientific technology and build up an open innovation ecosystem with global competitiveness.

The Southwest Technology Transaction Service Center, jointly established by the Liangjiang New Area and Shanghai Technology Exchange, will be based in Chongqing and have influence throughout Southwest China. The center aims to integrate the local science and innovation ecosystem, connect domestic and overseas scientific and technological innovation resources, and promote the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and industrial upgrading of Southwest China.
