Longmen Bridge in Liangjiang New Area |
Longmen Bridge in Liangjiang New Area (LNA), linking Fuxing Industrial Park to Shuitu Industrial Park in Beibei new district of Liangjiang New Area in Western China, opened for traffic in early 2014. Travel from Shuitu Industrial Park to Yufu Industrial Park will now take only two minutes. Longmen Bridge is an important node project in Liangjiang New Area. The bridge is located at the eastern edge of Daxing Road in Shuitu Industrial Park.
Before Longmen Bridge was built, it took 20 minutes to travel from Shuitu Industrial Park to Fuxing Industrial Park. The two parks are located on the north and south sides of the Zhuxi River, and it takes one hour to travel and tramp over mountains and through ravines from one side to the other.
Longxing Bridge, across the Zhuxi River, connects to the finished Daxing Road, which has become the main road leading into the town. The total length of the bridge is 222 meters, and its width is 33 meters.
Longmen Bridge reduces travel time between Shuitu Industrial Park, Fuxing Industrial Park and the Yuelai International Expo Center. It successfully connects the east and west parts of the Zhuxi River. The bridge plays an important role in supporting traffic, integrating the production area and residential area of LNA and enhancing logistics flow. Longmen Bridge has helped create a "half- hour" Liangjiang.
