Wang Yifu, Vice-Chairman of the Internal and Judicial Affairs Committee of the 12th National People's Congress, visited Liangjiang New Area (LNA) to do some research on May 4. Zhang Xuan, an alternate member of the 18th CPC Central Committee and deputy party secretary of Chongqing, and Ling Yueming, secretary of the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Party working committee and director of the Chongqing Liangjiang administrative committee, accompanied the official delegation on the visit.

Wang studied the management systems, function orientation, industrial layout, and the development and opening progress of Liangjiang New Area in the development planning exhibition hall. Ling said that the Liangjiang New Area is taking advantage of the Maritime Silk Road and economic belts of the Silk Road and Yangtze River and seizing the opportunities to expand Liangjiang’s transport system, such as Guoyuan Port, Cuntan Port and Jiangbei international airport.

In addition, Wang visited Haifu Technology Co., Ltd. and Chongqing's bonded commodity trade center in Liangjiang New Area and investigated their concrete technology and trade cases.
