A Chengdu-Chongqing sci-tech achievement matchmaking event was held on Sept 27 in Liangjiang New Area, with over 140 participants from local governments, sci-tech research institutions, and technology firms participating.

The event was jointly organized by the Chengdu bureau of science and technology and the sci-tech innovation bureau of Liangjiang.

Representatives of the meeting visited a research institution and a material manufacturing sharing service center in the new area just before the meeting began.

Application cases offered by the Chongqing Innovation Center of the Beijing Institute of Technology, Chongqing Research Institute of Jilin University, and other such R&D institutions were promoted, mainly in the fields of electronic information, new energy vehicles, and new materials.

The activity was designated as an exchange platform for sci-tech companies and research institutions in the two regions and facilitated the commercialization of sci-tech achievements.
