Chongqing Liangjiang New Area is enhancing its administration on the basis of ministry reforms and using the Internet. The new sub-bureaus of Chongqing Municipal departments were established on June 3.

Ling Yueming, secretary of the Chongqing Liangjiang New Area Party working committee and director of the Chongqing Liangjiang administrative committee, attended a meeting, at which heads of the municipal departments announced the appointment of team members after integration. Awards were given out to each sub-bureau by Tang Zongwei, deputy director of the administrative committee of Liangjiang New Zone in Chongqing, and Duan Chenggang, deputy director of the administrative committee of Liangjiang New Area and director of the administrative committee of the Northern New Area.

Since the establishment of Liangjiang Northern New Area, Chongqing municipal departments have sent bureaus of land resources and housing management, environmental protection, urban planning and local taxation, etc to set up sub-bureau offices in the Northern New Area.

In addition, the economic activities there have become increasingly active. However, there have been some cases of fake contracts and cheated deposits, which have left a negative impact on the New Area and blocked the efficient promotion of development and opening up. Liangjiang New Area is going to set up a police office to tackle illegal acts, which is of great importance in building a favorable environment for the Area.

Liangjiang New Area will make further innovations in its examination and approval service to simplify the approval process and cut the time used. The government should improve service levels and innovate service mechanisms to develop a customized service in fields such as trade, exhibition, finance and logistics. At present, the Liangjiang New Area administrative approval process is undergoing a trial operation online. Each department will speed up efforts to realize a complete online examination and approval system.
