The 2014 China Chongqing-South Korea friendly week opened on June 5. Huang Qifan, Chongqing Mayor, and Kwon Young-sae, South Korean ambassador to China, attended the opening ceremony. This is the third time that the Friendly Week is being held in Chongqing after being staged there in 2005 and 2009 respectively. Representatives of China and the South Korean government and enterprises are holding dialogues in the financial, commercial, medical care and city environment fields.
