The Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing in China, sponsored by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council and Hubei Province Government, took place in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, from June 23 to 27. Human resources companies from Liangjiang New Area in Chongqing attended the conference to promote the region’s talent policies and incentives.
Enterprise representatives from Liangjiang New Area participated in some events at the conference, including Talented People Forum, Thousand People Project, and Regional Company Recommendation Discussion, to introduce more outstanding overseas talent and enhance regional cooperation and exchanges. They handed out more than 470 Liangjiang New Area promotion brochures to conference participants from around the country and received 461 resumes.
Liangjiang New Area has invested in bringing in educated and skilled people to help them start their business in the region.
The conference is China’s most influential platform for overseas Chinese to seek partnerships in entrepreneurial projects. There were more than 1,000 participants this year.
