On June 30, 2014, Liangjiang New Area held a workshop for safety production work in the industrial development zone this year and made plans for the second half of the year.

The meeting stressed that Liangjiang New Area will make great efforts to strengthen safety production supervision and is working on specific planning.

Huang Zonghua, deputy director of the management committee of Liangjiang New Area, and Liu Guangcai, deputy director of the Chongqing Safe Production Supervision and Management Bureau, attended the workshop.

According to the new supervision system, Liangjiang New Area’s management committee will take charge of the region’s safe production, flood control, forest-fire prevention and traffic safety, and implement a safety system targeting each department and enterprise. The objective assessment of safe production will be improved.

Huang emphasized at the meeting that each department of Liangjiang New Area should have strong safe production awareness and always prioritize people's life and wealth safety.

In addition, reforms and innovation will be supported and the management system for safety in production will be improved without delay. The responsibility system of safety production will be improved and implemented.
