Recently, Chongqing Robots World in Liangjiang New Area welcomed a group of special guests. More than 60 stay-at-home children from the counties of Shuitu and Fuxing, Beibei district, experienced the magic of technology through playing chess and dancing with robots.
Wang Dongni, Party Secretary of the Youth League, Beibei district, said that during the summer holiday, many kids living in the cities participated in summer camps or traveled with their parents to enjoy a colorful holiday. However, most stay-at-home children could go nowhere but play by themselves in the villages or communities, which can get really boring. In order to enrich their summer live,s, the Beibei Youth League organized the event, hoping that the "zero distance" contact with robots could stimulate their interest in science and technology.
During the visit, children were excited to discover robots which could draw or clean windows, and had a good time playing with them.
