The BOE 220 KV transformer substation, which is located in Shuitu Hi-tech Industrial Park, Liangjiang New Area, started operations on October 28, and will meet the electricity needs of BOE Chongqing branch.

Up till now，BOE's accumulated usable patents total over 20,000, with 4,282 new patent applications made in 2013. The annual increased number of patent applications in 2013 ranked in the world's top 2, and the patent application number per R&D staff ranked No. 1 globally. In terms of shipment and market share, BOE ranks top 5 in the global industry.

As an industry leading enterprise, BOE Chongqing branch was settled in Liangjiang New Area in December 2012 and it plans to start operations in 2015. BOE Liangjiang base will integrate manufacturing and R & D, and will effectively promote the industrial restructuring and acceleration of the industrial development of Chongqing.
