Guoyuan Port railway in Chongqing Municaplity kicked off a trial run on December 28, where a freight train full of Changan cars headed to Lanzhou in Gansu province. An official in Changan Automobile said that the first batch of cargo in the train included a total of 248 cars of Changyan Yidong, CS35, and other models.

The distance from Changan Automobile Yuzui Base to Guoyuan Port is five kilometers. Therefore, the opening of Guoyuan Port railway will greatly reduce the transport time and reduce logistics costs. It will expand logistics and transport channels for Changan Automobile, and allow Changan Automobile to respond to customer needs swiftly.

Changan Automobile sold 2.34 million cars sold from January to November, in 2014, but only 1.6 million cars were sold outside the city during to the inadequate logistics and transport channels. Sitting at the intersection of "Silk Road economic belt" and "Yangtze River Economic Belt", Guoyuan Port will change this situation to a large extent, and boost the development of Chang'an Automobile.
